Wow, over 120 sailors participated in Club Opening which is a record, congratulations! Balmy warm breezes, blue bird summer skies and pulled pork on the smoker made for a wonderful day at Perry Yacht Club. Thank you all for the work we accomplished. The Docks, Clubhouse and Grounds look incredible and are second to none.
Each of us are Member Owners of the club and I know that each of you take pride in helping to make Perry Yacht Club your home. We recognize that difference, value and know that PYC is a special place. It doesn’t go unnoticed and others in the sailing community see it too. Please do your part to spread the word by inviting your friends, family and neighbors to come out for a visit. Also encourage people that you meet who are interested in sailing to contact us, fill out an application form, stop in for a tour of the club and check out our Website and Facebook pages.
Perry Yacht Club is growing with over 400 members and new families joining each month. Please welcome our newest PYC Members…

You’ve got Mail: Membership Cards will be mailed out soon to all that have paid your dues. For the rest, you’re late and payment is appreciated so that we can cover our annual operation costs. The 2016 gate code will no longer work after May 1. Also in your email you should see a PYC Membership Survey from Survey Monkey. The 3 questions are crafted to raise questions about how we might change our membership structure in the future to accommodate the changes that are occurring in the club and keep us on a track to strengthen and grow the club.
New this Year: Each month throughout the summer your Board of Governors will host a Sunday Meet the Board Breakfast at the clubhouse. Come grab a coffee, bagel and maybe a pancake. Share your ideas, ask questions and hear the latest from your club officers. You may also notice a few additions around the club like a new motor on the race committee boat, new tractor tires, a new phone and wifi system, the weather station is fixed and linked to Weather Underground, new lighting, gravel on the campground pads, repaired hand rails, improved walkway floatation and more on the way. If you see something or are aware of anything going on at the club that should be addressed please share with a Board Member and we will do our best to respond.
